Team AutoMaestro of BUET made our debut at the International Go-Kart challenge.
The debut team was structured into quite a few subsectors, and it consisted of our
beloved members from the BUET automobile club.

Not only did we make our daring debut, but we were also able to bag quite a few
exciting awards in the competition. Apart from securing the 9th position out of 60
teams worldwide, Automaestro also won the prestigious Innovation and Automotive
styling awards. One important thing to note about our innovation award, it was
possible all thanks to our jute fibre-based body panel.

Before the competition, our project and two other projects from BUET were invited
for showcasing in the ‘EWUCRT Research Fair’ at East-West University, organized
by East-West University Centre for Research and Training (EWUCRT). We received
an overwhelming response from the East-West university crowd as we showcased our ongoing Go-kart project. This was a massive inspiration for us to go further
ahead in the competition!

Following our success, quite a few outlets were generous enough to feature us in
their programs. We were featured in an evening show by BUET radio. A few of our
team members were interviewed in an informal chit-chat session about our
competition experiences and our amazingly built Go-Kart

And last but not least, we were fortunate enough to be featured in the columns of
Prothom Alo, one of the country’s most prominent newspaper outlets. This, to us,
was an absolute dream come true.

With the immense love and support shown to us combined with our never-ending hunger for success, Team Automaestro continues to strive harder to bring more glory to ourselves, and our nation.
