Team Automaestro, BUET’s very own formula student team, aims high this time. And what is this sky-high target? Formula Student UK 2022.
Formula Student (FS) is Europe’s most established educational engineering competition. Backed by industry and high-profile engineers such Patron, Ross Brawn OBE, the competition aims to develop enterprising and innovative young engineers and encourage more young people to take up a career in engineering.
With FSUK in mind, Team Automaestro has formed an outstanding team that has worked relentlessly for months to develop a cad model. From designing every minute piece to assembling all the subsections and bringing forth their beautiful design, it couldn’t be possible without the unified effort of every sub-sector and their team leaders. Their actions and cad model earned them a place to participate in the upcoming FSUK 2022 event, along with four more teams from Bangladesh. FSUK 2022 is supposed to take place in the Silverstone circuit in July.
After securing entry to FSUK main event and finalizing the model of their vehicle, now they are working on manufacturing the car. They are looking for sponsorships to make their dream a reality, and their logistic team is up for the job. They increase their online presence, hold seminars, and arrange events to attract sponsors. But, in the meantime, they can’t afford to waste time. So, they are sponsoring their project so that the production of the vehicle doesn’t get hampered.
